Enjoy a Waterfront Getaway on Highland Lake

At Grady's West Shore Motel, you can enjoy the quiet of an off-road lakeside getaway and the personalized service of a small family-operated motel. We are located in the heart of "Vacationland", right on the west shore of Highland Lake in beautiful Bridgton, Maine.  If it's skiing or snow boarding you like, or a moderate hike, Grady's is conveniently located just minutes from Pleasant Mountain

Our size offers an intimate, fun space that larger lodging facilities just can't offer. Many guests enjoy tubing or fishing in the afternoon, playing horseshoes, lounging in the shallow water at our beach, and spending the evening on a relaxing cruise around beautiful Highland Lake.  Folks love to gather after dinner at the fire pit for a beach campfire complete with s'mores and other goodies, often hanging out with friends and new acquaintances til the wee hours of the night. It just doesn't get much better than this!

On a chilly day in mid-April, our new dock was installed. A hearty team of true Mainers led by Pete Brown stepped up to the plate and got the job done! Pete, who has quickly become a favorite here at Grady’s thanks to his many talents and true business savvy ways, led his team in constructing the new dock pieces on land and then installing them into the cold waters of Highland Lake....

There's been plenty of snow up here in Bridgton this winter, especially compared to areas just to the south.  So with all this snow, it only makes sense to take advantage of the powder and drive 10 minutes up Highway 302 to Shawnee Peak on Mt. Pleasant.  I (Mark) have never lived so close to a ski resort, and I gotta say, it's awesome!
